Joint meeting of County Commissioners and County Controller to open bids for Election Supplies and also for- the furnishing of ballots for the Primary to be held September 14, 1937, as per advertisement of the County Con- troller, Present for County Commissioners, Messrs. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil; County Controller Post also present. Bids were opened and read by the County Controller in the presence of the County Commissioners as follows: Bid for supplying tally sheets, return sheets, envelopes, numbered lists of voters, Voters ' Guides, etc., etc., packed in 188 boxes for use in boroughs townships and Third Class Cities, I WILLIAM G. JOHNSTON COMPANY, Pittsburgh, Pa. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 783.24 Bid for 80,000 Official Ballots, more or less, and 20,000 Sample Ballots, 1 more or less, MONONGAHELA PUBLISHING COMPANY, Monongahela, Pa.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3985.00 Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Amos, that the contract for the fur- nishing of the necessary election supplies for use at the Primary to be held I I September 14; 1937s be awarded to the William G. Johnston Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., at their bid of $783.24, Motion carried, Motion by Mr. O 'Neil, seconded by Mr. .Amos, that the contract for the fur- nishing of ballots for the coming Primary be awarded to the Monongahela Publishing Company, Monongahela, Pa., at their bid of $3985.
