County Commissioners and County Controller in joint session for the
purpose of opening bids for the furnishing of official ballots and official
specimen ballots for the Municipal Election to be held on November 20 1937;
members present for the County Commissioners were Messrs. Berryman, Amos and
OtNeil and Deputy Controller Edwin V. Patton, representing County Controller
Post.
There being only one bid received, same was opened andnread in the
presence of the County Commissioners -as 'fdllows:
Nonong ahela :Publishing,: Company, ' Nonong ahela, . Pa . ,
bidding ,jointly with the Ward.Printing Company,
Washington, Pa.,. their bid for furnishing approxi-
mately 80,000 official ballots and, 20,,000 official
specimen ballots being for the lump sum price of
4585, or $45.85 per thousand.
Notion by Mr. O'Neil and'seconded by Mr. Amos, that the contract for
furnishing the ballots for the Municipal Election to be held on November 2,
1937, be awarded to the Nonongahela,Publishing Companyy, at their bid price
of 4585.00. Motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.-

County Commissioners in regular session, those<present being Messrs.
Berryman, Amos and O'Neil.
Notion duly made and seconded that the contract for delivering the ballots
and election supplies to the various polling places in Washington County be
awarded to: Bedillion, Moninger & Clemens at their bid price
of $62.00 .each, or a total of $186.00, a, certified check for . 200.00 to be filed
in the Conirollerts Office. Notion carried.
There being no further business before the meeting, it -was adjourned.
