Motion duly made and seconded that William, G. Beveridge be appointed to the
office of Assessor of Ellsworth Borough, Washington County, Pa. Motion carried
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.

Joint meting of the County Commissioners and County Controller was held
to open bids on furnishing tar for surface treatment and bituminous surface
course and wedge course for county roads.
Present for County Commissioners: Mr. Amos and Mr. O'Neil, Mr. Berryman
being absent. Also present, County Controller, John L. Post, Bids from the
following concerns were opened and read in the presence of the County Commission-
