O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS AR D P Office of the County Commissioners., Washington, Pa., August 30, 1937, County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the Strayer Office Supply Company, New Brighton, Pa., be given an order for one office desk and chair and one typewriter desk and chair for use in the new Registration Office, at a total price of $192.60, as submitted by Mr. Smith today. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the County Engineers Mr. Iams, be authorized to proceed with the construction of Cummins Bridge #5 on September 7, 1937, unless work is begun by the W. P. A. forces before that date, and that Mr. Lincoln, of the local W. P. A. Office, be notified of this action as well as Mr. Buttermore, at the Uniontown Office. Motion carried. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. (SIGNED) COUNTY CMISSTONERS Office of the County Commissioners., Washington, Pa. , August 31., 1937. County Commissioners in regular session, with Mr. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil present; the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: RESOLVED, that the County Commissioners of Washington County will not participate in assuming any responsibility for land damages or property taken on Route 257, Sections 1-W and 2-W in Washington County. The, above action was deemed necessary because of the condition of the budget and the damages already pending for roads constructed in tashington County.
