Joint meeting of the County Commissioners and County Controller for the
purpose of receiving bids for steel work for us in repairs to be made on

Barnard Bridge #15, over Ten Mile Creek, Washington County, Pennsylvania; present
for County Commissioners, Messrs. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil; County Controller
Post also present.
Bids were opened and read in the presence of the County Commissioners as
follows

Joint session for the purpose of receiving and opening bids for one Inter-
national Truck as per advertisement of County Controller.
. The following bid was opened and read in the presence of the County Commis-
sioners :
SHARPNACK MOTOR COMPANY, Washington, Pa.
One Model D-300 International Truck chassis and cab Over Engine
Type, 99" W.B., dual tires, as per specifications, equipped
with hydraulic hoist now owned by Washington County. . . . . . , . . . . . $1608.34

NET PRICE z—
Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Amos, that the contract for the above
mentioned International Truck be awarded the Sharpnadk Motor Company, Washington,
Pa., at their net bid of $1526.84. Motion carried.

Motion duly made and seconded that the Manufacturersf Light & Heat Companyo
Pittsburgh, Pa., by agreement, be authorized to construct a gas line under the
Houston-Hickory Road in Chartiers Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, for
a distkance of 20 feet. Motion carried,

Motion duly made and seconded that an Agreement made between the County Com-
missioners and Mr. Charles Ross of Glyde, Washington County, Pa., authorizing the
payment of damages in the amount of $3600 in connection with the construction of
Route 113-9-A be approved. The County Solicitor to get release and draw up the
other necessary papers for presenting the matter to the Court. Motion carried,
