County Commissioners and County Controller in joint_ session In the County Commissioners' Office at 11:00 A.M., for the. purpose ,of opening bids for one. new 1937 V-8 Standard Ford Coupe,, as per advertisement of the County Controller. Members present for the County Commissioners, Messrs. Berryman.. Amos and O'Neil, and Deputy Controller Edwin W. Patton representing the Controller, Mr. Post., Bids were received,, opened and read in the presence of the -County Commis- sioners as follows: DONORA MOTOR COMPANY We are glad to submit our bid far. 1937 V-8 Standard, Ford. Coupe, eighty-five h?-., color, Gray, with mohair uphol- stery, for the sum o $654-00, less allowance for standard 1933 Ford Coupe of $295-00, making the net price * .*9-**.e,-...$359-00 CITY GARAGE, CLAYSVILLE0 PA. We hereby submit bid to furnish one 1937 St4ndard Coupe, Model V-8, eighty-five h.p,., for $642.00 - less' allowance on 1933 Ford Standard Coup of $152..00, making a net cash bidof . ....... . .. . . .. Motion by Mr. Amos and seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the Donora Motor Company be awarded the contract for one standard 1937 V-8 Ford Coupe., 85 h.p.j, at their net bid price'of $359-00, provided after inspection, the car be considered in A-1 condition and that certified check be returned to the unsuccessful bidder. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and OfNeil. Motion duly made and seconded that the Manufacturers' Light-& Heat Company be authorized by Agreement to construct a gas line from Deems Park to the borough line, Coal Center, Pa., along the county road in East Pike Run Township for a distance of 25t4", for the purpose of conveying gas along said road. Motion carried. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. (SIGNED)
