Joint meeting of the County Commissioners and County Controller in the
County Commissioners' Office, for the purpose of receiving and opening bids
for tax bills for the County Treasurer' s Office; members present for the
County Commissioners were Messrs. Berryman., Amos and OtNeil, and Controller,
J. K. Smith.
The bids were opened and read in the presence of the County Commissioners
as follows:
WARD PRINTING COMPANY, Washington,, Pa. , . . . . . . . . S798.42
THE McBEE COMPANY, Pittsburgh, Pa., . . . . . . . . . . . . 738.00
Motion by Mr. OtNeil, seconded by Mr. Amos, that ,,the contract for 87,000
Occupation Statements, 50j000 Property Statements, 6 ,500 Personal Property
Statements, 2000 Blank Statements and 1,000 Blank Receipts, a total of 146,500,
be awarded to The McBee Company, at their bid price of 9738.00 and that the
certified check of the unsuccessful bidder be returned at once.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
