County Commissioners in regular -session., those present being Messrs.
Berryman., Amos and O'Neil.
Upon motion by Mr. Amos, sbconded by Mr. O'Neil, the following Resolution
was unanimously adopted:
R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, it appears to the Commissioners that some time prior to
November 1. 1937, arrangements had been made by the Croation Beneficial Society
or Jugo Slavenski Naradini Dom, of West Brownsville, Pennsylvania, with C . W.
Tope, County Treasurer, to take advantage of the then existing Tax' Abatement
Act., which arrangement was not consummated at the time by reason of certain
dealings with the Comptroller of the Currency.
WHEREAS, in view of the fact that these arrangements had( bben made
and were not completed on or before November 1,, .1937,, by reason of these deal-
ings with the Comptroller of the Currency;� now, therefore, be It
RESOLVED, that ' the said C.- W. Tope be and is hereby authorized to
proceed with the arrangement aforesaid and accept the 20% payment due thereunder
as if it had been made on or before November 1, 1937.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
