Office of the County Commissioners,
Washington, Pa., May 20, 1938.
County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berry-
man, Amos and OtNeil.
Motion duly made and seconded that a refund of over-payment of taxes in
the Borough of Donora, due to an over-charge of $50,000 in the assessment of
the American Steel & Wire Company, by the Assessor., making a total refund of
tax in the amount of $400.00, be authorized. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berry-
man, Amos and OtNeil.
Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. OtNeil, that the contract for painting
and decorating the walls and ceilings and refinishing the wood trim in the
j Office of the Recorder and Transcribing Room, be awarded to W. U. Kennedy at
his bid of $294.00, all tools, labor and materials to be furnished by the con-
tractor. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. OtNeil, that Hilda Richards be employed
as an extra cleaner in the Court House, beginning June . l, 1938, through the '
summer vacation period or until further notice. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
