County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berry-
man, Amos and OFNeil.-
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the County Controller is hereby authorized
to return the certified check of the William G. Johnston Company, Pittsburgh, Pa.,
in the amount of A,500.00, which is now being held for the furnishing of the neces-
sary election supplies for the Primary, May 17, 1938, said contract having been
satisfactorily completed.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

Motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, that the County Controller
be authorized to advertise for bids on the following materials for surface treat-
ment of County roads, bids to be received until 12 o1clock noon, E.S.T., June 14,

1938, and opened at 1:30 P.M., the same day: Approximately 82,500 gallons of Tar
and 2,500 tons of Limestone Chips or 2,800 tons of Slag Chips; also for the con- j
struction of 29,a50 sq.yds. of Bituminous Re-tread Surface Course on the following
roads:

Houston-McConnells Mills Road 17,250 sq. yds.
Beallsville-Zollarsville #2 Road 10,765 sq. yds.
Pike Run Road-Bridge Approaches 1.200 sq. yds.
Claysville-Burnsville-New Location 335 sq. yds.
Specifications and proposal blanks for the above work to be obtained at the

Office of the County Road and Bridge Department; certified check in the amount of
$200.00 must be given by each bidder; the right is reserved to reject any or all
bids and also to award each road separately or all to one bidder.
There being no further business before the meeti t was adjourned.
