Board of County Commissioners in regular session, each member having had personal notice of meeting, members present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil. The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a note for Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan was pre- sented, duly seconded and adopted by said Board, to-wit: WHEREAS, it has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1938 and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and levied and are to be collected by the County during the year 1938, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby au- thorized and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which have been levied and are to be collected during the year 1938, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary to repay said loan with interest are hereby set aside and designated for that purpose and � s y g � issue a note therefor, payable August 5 1938, with interest from date of said note at the rate of two and one-half (2 ) per cent. per annum, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania., which said taxes the County of Wash- ington assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as follows THE WASHINGTON UNION TRUST COMPANY, Washington, Pa., $50,000.00 There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
