County Commissioners In regular session, those present being Messrs. Berry-
man, Amos and OtNeil. '
Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. OtNeil, that the County Controller be
authorized to advertise for bids on the following bridge construction, which
bids will be received by the County Controller until ll.-OO A.M. , E.S.T. on
August 6, 1938, and opened immediately thereafter, with the right being reserved
to reject any or all bids:
NICHOLS BRIDGE., PIGEON CREEK #32, is to be a beam bridge, Concrete Masonry
and Timber Deck, having span of 40 feet and clear roadway of 20 feet.
DAGUE BRIDGE, PIGEON CREEK #33, is to be a beam bridge,, Concrete Masonry
and Timber Deck, having span of 45 feet and clear roadway of 20 feet.
The above bridges are to be bid as one project.
BROWN BRIDGE., CROSS CREEK #5, Is to be a two span beam bridge, Concrete and
Stone Masonry, Timber Deck, having two 38-foot spans and clear roadway of 18 feet
Plans, specifications and proposal blanks may be obtained at the Office of
the Road and Bridge Department; a deposit of $5.00 will be required for the
platy and specifications and upon their return, $3.00 will be refunded to the
bidder; two separate bids must be submitted for the aboVe projects and a certi-
fied check in the amount of $500-00 must accompany each bid. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
