O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., October 18, 1938. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that Mr. T. M. Bedillion and Mr. C. D. Moninger be awarded the contract for the delivery of the ballot boxes, ballots and other election supplies to each of the 184 voting precincts in Washington County for the General Election to be held November 8, 1938, at their bid of 275; certified check in the amount of $100 to be deposited with the County Commissioners to insure the faithful performance of the contract. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded, that the County Commissioners co-operate with the Board of Supervisors and the School Board of Mt. Pleasant Township, in per- mitting Mr. Johnson M. Russell to pay delinquent county taxes at face, (exchtrating all penalty and interest, with proviso that the amount of delinquent tax be paid in full at one payment; the County Treasurer to be notified of this action of the Board of County Commissioners. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded, that the agreement with John McCoy, Chartiers Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, for the quarrying of approximately 1500 cu. yds. of sand stone at 100 per cubic yard from a quarry located on the farm of John McCoy, be approved. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. SIGNED COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. Office of the County Commissioners. Washington, Pa., October 19, 1938. The Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those members present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil. Motion duly made and seconded, that the rate of pay for Assessors in the Third Class Cities of Washington County, be fixed at $5.00 per day, effective as of January 1, 1938. Motion carried.
