O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS WAR. Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa.., March 28, 1938. Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs* Berman, Amos and O'Neil. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the County-Bvdget for the year 1938 be finally adopted by the County Commissioners.* said -budget having been available for public inspectibn in the office of theChief- Clerk from March 4 to March 28, 1938, in accordance with Act of Asoombly. -of-July 18, 1935• Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil., that the rate of,,taxation upon the valuation of the properties of the County of Washingtonp,"Jm order to raise.-sufricient revenues to meet-required expenditures for the ypar 1938,, be fixed at five and one-half (5j) mills., which will make payment of -taxes to the amount of fifty-five cents (550) upon each 1100 of assessed valuation- of real estate and occupation. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. PtNell, that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for 80,000 Official Ballots, more or less, and 20,000 Sample Ballots, more or less, for use in the Primary, May 17, 1938. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for supplying tally sheets, return sheets, envelopes, numbered lists of voters, Voters' Guides, etc., required for use of the Election Officers at the Primary Election to be held on May 17, 1938, MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA JOHN'D. BERRYMAN, EARL B. AMOS, JOHN N. O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS supplies to be packed in 188 boxes for use In Boroughs., Townships and Third Class Cities that may be found necessary. Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned., (SIGNED COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. Office of the County Commissioners, Washington., Pa., March 290 1938. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and OfNeil. Upon motion duly made and seconded, April 7., 1938, was set aside as the day for casting lots for position of candidates► names on the Primary ballot. Motion carried. .
