O'NEIL Commissi6NERS Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, ,.Pa., November 29, 1938. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that Frank B. Anthony, R. D. #2, Canonsburg, Pa. , be authorized by agreement to construct an electric power line over the concrete and blacktop road in Washington County, between Canonsburg and Thomas, for a distance of fifty feet. Motion carried. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. (SIGNED) COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa. ., November 29, 1938. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, each member having had personal notice of meeting, members present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and OfNeil, The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a note for One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan was presented, duly seconded and adopted by said Board, to-wit: WHEREAE, it has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of One 'Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expense for the year 1938-1939 ,and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and are to be l�vied and collected by the County during the year 1939, now., therefore, BE IT hESOLVED., by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County., the proper officials of the said County tre hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which are to be levied and collected during the year 1939, and _ o such of said taxes as may be necessary to repay said loan, with interest., ,are hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor, payable August 5, 1939, with interest from date of said note at the rats--of"two and one-half (2-1 ) per cent- per annum, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,, which said taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to payp said note to be negotiated and issued as follows: THE WASHINGTON UNION TRUST COMPANY, Washington., Pa., $100,000.00 There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
