O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS 1 1 1 S A L A R Y B 0 A R D - - -- 1936. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of saAries of all employees of the County of Washington who are em- ployed by the County Commissioners of said County, met in the office of the County Commissioners in the Court House, Washington, Pa., on January 7, 1936, at 11:15 A.M., the following members being presOnt: County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and OtNeil and County Controller Post. Upon motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. Amos, the Board proceeded to organize for the ensuing year by nominating Mr. Berryman as Chairman. There being no other nominations for Chairman, the vote was taken and Mr. Berryman was declared elected. Chairman Berryman took the chair and Board preceeded to elect a Secretary; motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that Mr. Amos be elected Secretary. There being no other nominations for Secretary, the vote was taken and Mr. Amos was declared elected Secretary. Motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. Amos, that the salary of Russell Adams, Chief Engineer, Court House & Jail, be fixed at 130.00 per month; and that the salaries of the two Assistant Engineers, J. P. Meighen and Fred Day, be fixed at $110.00 each, �er month; and that the salary of the Night Watchman Anthony Note, be fixed at $100.00 per month. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. Post, that the salary of the Building Superintendent, Bert B. Irwin, befixed at 125.00 per month. Question called for: Voting "Aye", Messrs. Amos and Post and Mr. Berryman voting "No". Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. Post, that the salary of J.Ralph Johnston, newly elected sealer of Weights and Measures, be fixed at $150.QO per month, with proviso that he use his own car in his work but that the County furnish a truck for the transportation of weights, etc., Question called for: Voting "Aye", Messrs. Amos and Post; her. Berryman voting "No". Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. Post, that the Sarlary of Georgene H. Morton, Secretary to the County Superintendent of Schools, be fixed at 100.00 per month. Motion carried. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet at the call of the Chairman.
