O*NEII COMMISSIONERS The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa. , on Tuesday, January 14, 1936, at 10:45 A.M. ,, the following members being present: County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil and County Controller Post. Motion by Mr . Post, seconded by Mr. Amos., that persons employed for the propose of doing extra clerical work in any of the various offices shall be paid at the rate of Three ($3 .00) Dollars per them for time actually employed. Motion carried. --------- The Salary Board having to do with matter of employees and salaries in the office of the County Controller, met in the office of the County Com- missioners, Washington, Pa. , on Tuesday, January 14., 1936, at 11:00 A.M. , members present being County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil and County Con- troller Post. Motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. Amos., that the salary of Elliott W. Finkel, recently appointed as Solicitor to the County Controller, be employed at the rate of $50-00 per month. Motion carried. ---------- The Salary Board having to do with the matter of employees and salaries in the office of the Clerk of Courts, met in the office of the County Commission- ers, Washington, Pa. , on Tuesday, January 14, 1936, at 11:15 A.M. , members present being County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil and County Control- ler Post and Clerk of Courts, Frank P. -Lindsay. Motion by Mr. Lindsay, seconded by Mr . Post, that Irene Burroughs be employed as Deputy Clerk of Courts and that her salary be fixed at the rate of $165.00 per month, with proviso that she may be dismissed upon 30 days? notice. Motion carried. ------------- 4 The Salary Board having to do with the matter of employees and salaries in the office of the County Treasurer, met in the office of the County Commis- sioners, Washington, Pa. , on Tuesday, January 14, 1936, at 11:25 A.M. , members present being County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil and County Con- troller and County Treasurer Tope. 629 , MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA JOHN D. O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS Motion by Mr. Tope, seconded by Mr. Amos, that the following persons named below be appointed to the positions of Deputy Treasurer and Clerks in the office of the County Treasurer for the ensuing year, as indicated, with the proviso that they may be dismissed upon 30 days ' notice and that the salaries of each be fixed as follows: Ophas W. Howard, Deputy Treasurer, $160.00 per mo. Theresa Hank, Clerk, 125-00 John Bevec, Clerk, 130-00 Mayme B. Richardscp, Clerk, 145 .00 Margaret P. Hagen, Clerk, 125 -00 Jane E. Maurer, Clerk, 125.00 Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. ---------- The Salary Board having to do with the matter of employees and salaries in the office of the Coroner, met in the office of the County Commis- sioners, Washington, Pa. ,, on Tuesday, January 14, 1936 , at, 11:40 A.M. , members present being County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil, County Controller Post and Coroner James B. Jones . Motion by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Post, that Miss Mary Meiser be employed as stenographer in the office of the Coroner., with proviso that she may be dismissed upon 30 dayst notice, and that her salary be fixed at the rate of $50 per month. Motion carried. Motion made and duly seconded that Board adjourn to meet at the call of the Chairman. Board stood adjourned. The Salary Board of the County of Washington having to do with the matter of employees and salaries in the office of the Sheriff, met in adjourned meeting , at the call of the Chairman, in the office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., on Wednesday, January 15, 1936, at 2:30 P.M. , the following members 1xing present, County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil, County Controller Post and Sheriff Fred W. Brady. Chairman Berryman presiding . Motion by Mr. Brady.. seconded by Mr. Amos, that J. A. Seaman be ap- pointed Chief Deputy in the office of the Sheriff for the ensuing year, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon 30 days't notice, and that his salary be fixed at $190.00 per month. Motion carried. J
