O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS Notion by Mr. Brady, seconded by Mr. Amos, that Roland W. Brown be ap- pointed Secretary and Clerk and the following persons named as deputies in the one office of the Sheriff for the ensuing year, with proviso that anynof these persons may be dismissed upon 30 days' notice: James Kane and George Mosley. • Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Brady that the salary of James Kane be fixed at $150.00 and per month, the salary of Geroge Mosley at $145.00 per month, the salary of Poland W. Brown at $125 .00 per month. There was no second for this motion, therefore, it was declared lost. Motion by Mr. Brady, seconded by Mr. Amos, that the salaries of the persons this day appointed to the office of the Sheriff in their various capaci- ties be fixed as follows: Roland W. Brown $120.00 per month James Kane 145 .00 rr rr George Mosley 140.00 rr n i Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Brady, seconded by Mr. Amos, that Adolph L. Zeman be appointed as Solicitor for the Sheriff, in accordance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly in such case made and provided, and that the salary of said Solicitor be fixed at 500.00 per annum. Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. -------------- The Salary Board having to do with the matter of employees and salaries in the office of Recorder of Deeds, met in the office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., on Wednesday, January 15, 1936, at 3:00 P.M. , the following members being present, County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and OtNeil, County Controller Post and Recorder, John H. Cooper. Chairman Berryman presiding . Motion by Mr. Cooper, seconded by Mr. Amos, that the following be em- ployed in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for the ensuing year, in the positions and with the salaries as set forth below, with the proviso thbt any of said employees may be dismissed upon 30 dayst notice: Bernice Baker, Deputy Recorder, 1170.00 per month Helen R. Hall, Clerk, 100.00 rr n Marie Lincoln, `"lerk, 100.00 rr rr Matilda McGlade, Snddx Clerk, 120.00 rr n 'G Motion carried. Christman i?e named as Solicitor to the office of Recorder of Deeds in accordance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly in such case made and provided, and the salary of said Solicitor be fixed at $300.00 per annum. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. ---------- - The Salary Board hiving to do with the matter of employees and salaries in the office of Register of Wills met in the office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa. , on Wednesday, January 15, 1936, at 3:30 P.M. , members present being County Commissioners Berryman., Amos and O'Neil, County Controller Post and Register of Wills, Samuel A. Barnum. Chairman Berryman presiding . Motion by Mr. Barnum, seconded by Mr. Amos, that David R. Barnum be appointed Deputy Register of Wills and that his salary be fixed at ?190.00 per month; said appointment made with the proviso that said Deputy may be dismissed upon 30 days' notice . Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Barnum, seconded by Mr . Amos, that the following persons be employed in the office of Register of Wills for the ensuing year., in the positions and with the salaries as set forth below, with the proviso that any of said employees may be dismissed upon 30 days' notice: Lucius McK. Crumrine, Legal Clerk, $180.00 per month hazel V. Bauman, Clerk, 130-06 Thelma W. MacBeth, Clerk, 110.00 Peter Jollick, Clerk, 110.00 Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting , it was adjourned. The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa. , on Wednesday, January 15, 1936, at 4 P.M. , members present being County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil, and County Controller Post . Chairman Berryman presiding . Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that Mrs . Anna Hair be appointed Matron at the Juvenile Detention Rooms and that Elizabeth Hair be appointed Assistant- Matron at the Juvenile Detention Rooms for the ensuing year, with proviso that either may be dismissed upon 30 days' notice and that the salaries of each be fixed as follows:
