BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
JOHN D. BERRYMAN, EARL B. AMOS, JOHN N. O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the
matter of salaries of all employees of the County of Washington, coming Udder
the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Court House Washil'19-
ton, Pa,, on Wednesday, January 15, 1936, at 4:30 P.M. , the following members
being present: County Commissioners Berryman., Amos and OtNeil., County Con-
troller Post.
Chairman Berryman presiding .
Motion by Mr . Amos, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the following
persons be named in the various capacities indicated, with salaries given,
for the ensuing year, with provisoLthat each may be dismissed upon 30 dayst
notice;
George D. Tams, County Surveyor, $25 .00 per mo.
Goerge D. Tams, County Engineer, 275-00
Gilbert J. Dentel, Secretary, 100.00
Charles J. Lutes Supt . County Garage 100.00
B. T. McGowan, Mechanic T1 11 125.00 It
Jay G . Nelan, Foreman-Roads 125 -00
G . L. Allman, Foreman-Bridges 125-00
The following persons to be employed in the Washington County Road
Department on per them basis:
James Verner, Bridge Foreman, 450 per hour
Lynn Sprowls, Road Foreman 450
Arthur Cornette, Truck Driver,, 450
G . M. Carroll, Truck Driver 450
Lawrence Dague, Macinie Operator, 450
Motion carried.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, a uniform rate of pay for common
labor in the Washington County Road Department was fixed at 1+00 per hour.
Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned.
