The Salary Board for the County of Washington, having to do with salaries
of employees in the office of the County Commissioners, met in the office of
the County Commissioners on Wednesday, January 61 1937, at 2030 P.M., members
present being County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and OtNeil and County Con-
troller Post.
The matter of salaries of the employees in the County Commissionerst Office
was discussed at some length and action deferred until a later date.
Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that all salaries of employees
coming under the jurisdiction of the Salary Board remain the same as in the year
1936 for the present, with the exception of those duly passed upon by the Board.
Lotion carried.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the meeting -was -adjourned to meet at
the call of the Chairman.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington having to do with the matter
of salaries of employees in the office of the Prothonotary, met in the office
of the County Commissioners, on Thursday.. January,13, 1937, members present
being County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and-fltNeil and Prothonotary Walter
Carson, and County Controller Post.
Motion by Mr. Carson that the salaries°of the employees of his department
including Russell S. Riggle, Thos. H. Ullom, John Gnip and'A.nne Murray, be in-
creased $10 each per month, beginning January 4p 1937: This motion received
no second, therefore, was declared lost.
Notion by Mr. Antos, seconded by Mr. Post, that the salaries of the employees
of the Prothonotaryts Office remain the same as for the year 1936 for the present.
Motion carried, with Mr. Carson voting "Noll and insisting that the increase as
suggested be granted.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
Meeting of the Salary Board having to do with the matter of salaries in
the office of the County Controller, in the office of the County bommissioners
at 3 P.M., on Tuesday, February 2, 1937; members prezent-being County Commis-
sioners Berryman, Amos and OtNeil and County Controller Post.
Motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salary of Thomas Pyles
be increased to #175.00 per month, to be effective January 4. 1937. Motion
carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
