April 11, 1938.
The Salary Board of the county of Washington, having to do with the salaries
of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in
the Office of the County Commissioners on. Monday, April 11, 1938; members present
being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil and County Controller, J. K. Smith.
Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the rate of pay for the
Personal Property Tax Clerk be fixed at $150.00 per month, effective as of the
first Monday bf April, 1938. Motion carried. The present Personal Property Tax
Clerk is W. Carl Smith.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
May 25, 1938.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the
salaries of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners,
met in the Office of the County Commissioners, with the following members present:
County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil, and County Controller Smith.
Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Amos, that Hilda Richards, employed
on the cleaning force of the Court House, be paid a salary of 945.00 per month,
effective June 1, 1938. Motion carried.

Meeting of the Salary.Board was held in the Office of the County Commissioners]
Sept. 51 1938. Members present were Commissioners John D. Berryman, Earl B. Amos,
John N. O'Neil and County Controller J. K. Smith.
Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the salary of the special
registrars in the field, shall be fixed at $7.50 per, -day for the actual days
worked, including transportation and other expenses from September 6 to October 8,
1938. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
October 22, 1938.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the salaries
of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in
the Office of the County Commissioners on Saturday$ -October 22, 1938, with the
following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil and
County Controller Smith.
Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. Amos, that the extra registrars used
in the fi.d during the period of September 5th to September 8th, 1938, be paid
at the rate of $6.00 per day for the actual number of days employed. Motion
carried.
