BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
JOHN D. BERRYMAN, EARL B. AMOS, JOHN N. O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of
salaries of employees coming under its jurisdiction, met in the Office of tba C
Commissioners, on Wednesday, June 7, 1939, with the 'following members present:
County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil and County Controller Smith.
Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. Amos, that the salary of W, U, Brightwell,
Record Custodian, be fixed at $85,00 per month, effective June 8, 1939, and that
the County Controller be authorized to apportion said salary to the accounts of the
various offices, the records of which Per. Brightwell is Custodian, viz., Clerk of
Courts, Clerk of the Orphans' Court, Prothonotary, and Treasurer, motion carried,
There being no further business before the Salary Board, the meeting was
adjourned,
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, met on Monday, July 10, 1939,
with the following members present: Messrs Berryman and Amos, J. K. Smith; Mr.
O'Neil being absent.
Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded'by Mr. Smith, that the salary of any extra
cleaners in the Court House be fixed at Fifty ($50.00) Dollars per month. Motion
carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with fixing the'
rate of pay for the extra registrars, met in the Office of the County Commissioners
Thursday, July 20, 1939, members present being Commissioners Berryman, Amos and
O'Neil, also Controller J. K. Smith.
Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that tUe rate of pay for registrar
travelling from the Registration Office be fixed at 10t00 per day; each registrar
to pay his own expenses and the rate for those picked up from the several districts
r
as local registrars be fixed at $6.00 per day. These rates to be in effect during
the present registration period. Motion carried.
