O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with salaries of employees in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, met in the Office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., on Monday, January 23, 1939, at 4:30 P.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil; County Controller J. K. Smith and Recorder of Deeds John H. Cooper. Motion by Mr. Cooper, seconded by Mr. OtNeil, that the present employees in the Recorderts Office be retained for the year 1939, with proviso that each may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice, and that salary of each be fixed as follows: Bernice Baker, Deputy Recorder, $200.00 per month Helen R. Hall, Clerk, 110.00 " n Irene Barbour, Clerk, 110.00 " 't Matilda McGlade, Index Clerk, 130.00 Harold Fergus, Solicitor, 25.00 " Motion carried. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet at 4:45 P.M., to fix salaries in the Office of the Prothonotary. Ei The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with salaries of employees in the Office of the Prothonotary, met in the Office of the County Com- missioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., on Monday, January 23, 1939, at 4:45 P•1•, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and OfNeil; County Controller J. K. Smith and Prothonotary Walter Carson. Motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by Mr. Amos, that employees in the Office of the Prothonotary be retained in their present capacities for the year 1939, with proviso that each may be dismissed upon thirty dayst notice, and that the salary of each be the same'as that for the year 1938, which is as follows: Russell Riggle, Deputy Prothonotary, $200.00 per month Thomas Ullom, Clerk, 140.00 " Ann Murray, Clerk, 130.00 " John Gnip, Clerk, 140.00 " t' Valesca Mercer, Clerk, 100.00 Motion carried.
