O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS 1 11 1 January 24, 1939. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with salaries.,and en 1ployees coming under its jurisdiction, met in the Office of the County Commissioners Court House, Washington, Pa., on Tuesday, January 24, 1939, at 1:00 P.I., to fix salaries of employees in the Office of the Register of Will's�, with the following ITembers of the Board present: County.Commissioners Berryman,.Amos and O'Neil; County Controller Smith and Register of Wills Barnum. Motion by Mr. Barnum that all employees in his office be retained in their res- pective capacities for the year 1939 and that the salary -of ep.ch remain the same, lwith the exception of the salaries of Thelma MacBeth and Petor Jollick, which are to �be increased $10.00 per month each, making their respective salaries $140.00 per month for the year 1939. This motion received no second, therefore, it was declared Lost by the Chairman Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board -adjourned to meet at 11:30 P.M., to fix salaries in the Office of the Sheriff. January 24, 1939. Adjourned meeting of the Salary Board of the. County. of Washington, having to do with salaries and employees coming under its jurisdiction, met in the Office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., Tuesday, January 24, 1939, C at 1:30 P.M., with the following members present: 'County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and O'Neil, and County Controller Smith, First in the order of business was the matter of salaries,of employee's in the Sheriffts Office, with M. B. Armstrong, Sheriff, present, Motion by Mr. Armstrong, seconded by Mr. Smith, that employees of the Sherifft Office be retained for the year 1939 in their present capacities, at the same salary as for the year 1938, which -is as follows: Paul Allen, Chief Deputy, $200.00 per month Adam C. Zelt, Deputy, 160.00 n it F. L. Heinrich, Deputy, 160.00 Louis Rosena, Deputy, 160.00 " n Harry Bell, Deputy, 160.00 " n Stuart E. Murphy, Solicitor, 41.66 I or $500 per yr also that Clara biller, who has been employed as an extra clerk in this office, be placed'on the regular pay roll at a salary of $85.00 per month for the year 1939, effective as of January 2, 1939, with proviso that she,a,:Qr any other employee in this office, may be dismissed upon thirty dayst notice.. Motion carried. Upon motion duly made', seconded and carried, the meeting adjouined'until 2: 00 P.M.
