Joint ,meeting of the County Commissioners and County Controller for the pur-
pose of opening bids for furnishing and delivering to the Office of the County
Treasurer., Court House, Washington, Pa.,, tax statements for the year 1939, those
present being County Commissioners Berryman, Amos and OfNeil, County Controller
Smith and County Treasurer Tope,
Bids were opened and read in the presence of the County Commissioners as
follows :
WARD PRINTING COMPANY,, Washington,, Pa.., $640.00
THE TODD SALES COMPANY, Pittsburgh, Pa,., $637,20
THE MeBEE COMPANY., Athens, Ohio,, $725,00

After due caftrtftration, motion was made by Yr. O'Neil., seconded by Yr,
Amos., that the contract for the furnishing and delivering of County Treasurerts
tax statements for the year 1939, as per advertisement of the County Controller,,
be awarded to the Ward Printing Company, Washington,, Pa., at their bid of $640.00
and that the County Controller be authorized to return all checks of the unsuc-
cessful bidders at once. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the joint meeting, it was adjourned*
