Board of County Commissioners in regular sessiono each member having had per- - sonal notice of meeting, members present being Messrs* Berryman,, Amos and OfNeil, The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington.. State of Pennsylvania, - relative to the issue by the said County of a note for Fifty Thousand ($50,000,00) Dollars as a temporary loan was pre- sented., duly seconded and adopted by said Board,, to-wit: wh t has become necessary for saidd -Board to borrow the sum of Fifty Thousand ($56,000.00) Dolldrs­for the purpose of meeting current- expenses for the year 1939 -and to be Mbble out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and levied and are to be collected by the County during the year 1939, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED; by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County., the proper officials of th+aid County are hereby auth6'.-'' rized and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them., payable out of taxes which have been levied andare to be collec- ted during the year 1939, and so mach of said taxes as may be necessary to re- pay said loan, with interest, are hereby set- aside and designated for that pur- pose, and issue a note therefor, payable August 5 ' 1939, with interest from date of said note at the rate of two (2) per cent; per annum, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of- Peftsylvania, which said taxes the County of Wash- ington assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as- fol- lows : THE CITIZENS NATIONAL BANK., Washington., Pa. $50.,000*00 There being no further business before the oard, the meeting was adjourned. Berry- man and O'Neil., Mr. Amos being absent. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to ac- cept delinquent tax, liened in the name of Tong Massaro., against Lots 53-54 Corrin Plan, in Monongahela 2nd Ward., without penalty and interest, Iinasmuch as said taxes became delinquent only because of an error in assessment.
