O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS Office of the County Conmdssioners, April 10, 1939, Washington, Pa. Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs, Berryman, Amos and OfNeil, Motion by Mr. Amos., seconded by Mr. O'Neil., that the County Budget for the year 1939 be finally adopted by the County Commissioners, said budget having 'been available for public inspection in the Office of the Chief Clerk from March 17, 1939 to April 100 1939, in accordance with the Act of Assembly of July 18, 1935. Motion -carried, Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. OfNeil, that the rate of taxation upon the valuation of the properties of the County of Washington, In order to raise sufficient revenues to meet required expenditures for the year 1939, be fixed at six (6) mills, which will make payment of taxes to the amount of sixty cents (60�) upon each $100 of assessed valuation of real estate and occupation. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board., the meeting was adjourned. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Commissioners eo-operate with the School District of Cecil Township in accepting delinquent County Tax liened for the year 1935 against property assessed in the name of Valentine Steckert,, without penalty and interest and that the County Treasurerbe advised of this action of the Board of County Commissioners; said delinquent tax to be paid in full as of this date-, April 12, 1939.
