Motion duly made and seconded that an Agreement between the Washington County Commissioners and the Citizens Water Company of Washington County., Pennsylvania, permitting said company to construct a 6" water line paralleling and crossing under a bituminous road in South Strabane Township., Washington County, Pennsylvania for a distance of 128 feet, more or less. Motion carried. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. (SIGNED) COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa. , August 8, 1939. County Commissioners and County Controller in joint session for the purpose of opening bids for furnishing ballots and also all necessary election supplies for use at the Primary to be held September 12, 1939; present for County Commissioners, Messrs. Berryman., Amos and OfNeill and County Controller, J. K. Smith; the following bid was opened and read in the presence of the County Com- missioners for ballots: Joint bid of Ward Printing Company, Washington, Pa. , and Monongahela Publishing Co. , Monongahela, Pa. , for 95,000 Official Ballots, 25,000 Official Sample Ballots and 45,000 Candidates? Sample Ballots, making a total of 165,000 regular ballots for the sum of $4950.00 and 50,000 Special Referendum Ballots for the sum of CL32.50. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the contract for the above mentioned ballots be awarded jointly to the Ward Printing Company and the Monongahela Publishing Company at their bid of $5682.50. Motion carried. Bids were also opened and read in the presence of the County CommissionerE in accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller for supplying tally sheets, return sheets., envelopes, numbered lists of voters, Voterts Guides, etc. , etc. , required for use of Election Officers at the Primary to be held September 12, 1939, packed in 188 boxes for use in boroughs., townships and third class cities as follows: WILLIAM G. O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS Motion by Mr. Amos., seconded by Mr. OtNeil, that the contract for the supplies necessary for the conduct of the primary to be held September 12, 1939, be awarded to the William G. Johnston Company, Pittsburgh, Pa. , at their bid of $803.29. Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned., (SIGNED) COUNTY .COMMISSIONERS. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Commissioners co-operate with the School District and the Board of Supervisors of Smith Township in exonerating all taxes., penalty and interest., liened against the Catholic Parsonage., BulgeR'-Pa.-,-,-'-' up to and including the year 1936.
