BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

Office of the County Commissioners,
Washington, Pa.., September 25., 1939.
County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berry-
man, Amos and OtNeil.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to
advertise for bids for 95,000 Official Ballots, more or less, and 25,000
Official Specimen Ballots, more or less, for use in the Municipal Election to
be held November 7, 1939, and the necessary ballots for a Motion Piettre Referen-
dum in the Borough of Roscoe. Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to
return sheets
advertise for bids for supplying tally sheets,/envelopes, numbered lists of
voters, Voterts Guides., etc., etc., required for use of the election officers at
the Municipal Election to be held November 7, 1939, supplies to be packed in
188 boxes for use in Boroughs, Townships and Third Class Cities, as may be found
necessary. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board., the meeting was adjourned.

Joint meeting of the County Commissioners and County Controller for the
purpose of opening bids for the construction of a concrete culvert on the
Beallsville-Zollarsville Road and for the construction of Weirich Bridge,
chartiers Creek No. 63, in Canton Township, Gabby Bridge, Chartiers Creek No.
65, in North Franklin Township, and Bell Avenue Bridge, Buffalo Creek No. 91
in Claysville Borough, as per advertisement of the County Controller; present
for the County Commissioners, Messrs. Berryman, Amos and OlNeil., with the
County Controller being represented by Maryy Allen, Clerk in that office. I
The following bids were opened and read in the presence of the County
Commissioners as follows:
