O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS 1 I I Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., December 13, 1939. Board of County CoMissioners in regular session, each member having had personal notice of meeting, members present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and O'Neil. The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County I of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a note for $75,000.00 as a temporary loan was presented, duly seconded and adopted by said Board, to-wit: WHEREAS;. It has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of Seventy- five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) for the purpose of meeting the-payment of interest on outstanding bonds of the County of Washington, payable December, 1939, and the payment of such bonds as are maturing in December, 1939, and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and levied by the County during the year 1939, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of interest on outstanding bonds of the County of Washington, payable December, 1939, and the pay- ment of such bonds as are maturing in December, 1939, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and levied by the County during the year 1939, and so much of said taxes and other current revenues as may be necessary to repay said loan, with interest, are hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor, payable on demand; with interest from date of said note at the rate of two per cent. (2%) per annum, 'free of all taxes levied by the Common- wealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as follows: THE WASHINGTON UNION TRUST COMPANY, Washington, Pa., $75,000.00 There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
