Commissioners in regular sessions members present being Messrs, Johnston$
O'Neil and Barnes. Joint meeting of County Commissioners and County Controller
held in the office of the County Commissioners at 4 P41, to open and read bids
for "the supplying of the County of Washington with approximately',104GO0 gallons
of gasoline for use in County automobiles and trucks* as per advertisement by
County Controller for such bids; members present being County Commissioners
Johnston, O'Neil and Barnes and County Controller Woodward; bids from the
following concerns, each accompanied by certified check as requireds opened
and read in presence of the County Commissioners:-
Auto Accessories Company -- bid to supply 10.,000 gallons gasoline* deliv-
ered to County garages or at service station, at following prices:
Motor Gass 9 1-2 eta per gal
High Test 10 1-2 eta per gal
Ethyl, 12 1-2 eta per gal
with one tl) % trade discount, plus tax.
Triangle Oil Company -- bid to supply 10s000 gallons gasoline., at posted
price=ssess 2 1-2 eta per gallon,
(Quoted price this date 12 eta. $ thus price offered would be
9 1-2 eta per gallon this date, )
Pyramid Oil CoManly -- bid to supply lOsOOO gallons gasoline as follows:
Fleetwing Motor Gass 9 1-2 etss plus 3¢
U Ethyl - 12 1-2
at stations add 1-2 cent on quoted price,
Standard Oil Co. of Pennta. bid to supply lOsOOO gallons of gasoline
as follows:
Tank Wagon del, "S,O." posted prices less 2 eta.
At service station 2 eta.
Terms* net 30 days,
Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Barnes., that contract for supplying
County of Washington with lOpOOO (approximately) gallons of gasoline be awarded
to Pyramid Oil Company, and that County Controller be directed to return all
checks to bidders, Motion carried. There being no further business
before the joint meetings it was adjourned.
