Commissioners in regular session* members present being Messrs. Johnston*
O 'Neil and Barnes.
The Matter of election of a ftlicitor for the Board of County Commissioners
was dis-anssed and the President of the Boards Mr. Johnstone asked for nominations
for the position thus to be filleds after which the following nominations were
made:
By Mr, O'Neil, Norman E. Clark* Esq.;
By Mr, Johnston* Adolph Zeman, Esq.
No other names being presented to the Boards the President called for a vote
on the two nomineess with the following result:—
Voting for Norman E0 Clark* Messrs. O'Neil and Barnes;
Voting for Mr, Zeman# Mr, Johnston.
Mr. Clark having received a majority of the votes casts was declared elected
Solicitor for the Board of County Commissioners* in accordance with the provisions
of the Acts of Assembly in such ease made and provided# with the proviso that he
might be dismissed upon 30 days notice.
There being no further business before the meetings it was declared adjourned,
