Board of County Commissioners in regular session* each member having had
personal notice of meetings members present being Messrs* Johnston$ O'Neil and
Barnes,
The following Resolution of the Board of CoiInty Commissioners of the County
of Washington was presented* duly seconded and unanimously adopted by said Boardt.
WHEREAS* The County of Washington is indebted to the Borough of Houston*
Washington County* in the sum of Fifteen Thousand ($15*000.06) Dollars* this
being the portion of costs of repairing and improving Pike Street in said
Boroughs to be paid by the County under its agreement to bear such portion
of said costsp in accordance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly pro.
viding for Borough Aid on the part of the County; and
.WHEREAS $, There are not sufficient funds in the Treasury of the County of
Washington to make payment of said obligation atthis times but for which taxes
have been levied but not yet paid into the County Treasury; Now* therefore*
BE IT RESOLVED# That the County of Washington issue a Notes payable to
the Borough of Houston* for the sum of Fifteen Thousand ($15#000000) Dollars*
due August 5* 1932# with interest at rate of six (6) per centum from date of
sam.es and that the proper officers of said County be* and they are, hereby
authorized to prepare and sign said Note., for the County of Washington* in
payment of said obligation above recited,
