BARNES, COMMISSIONERS I Office of the County Commissioners# Washington, Pa., March 23, 1932. I i Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston, I O'Neil .and Barnes. The following Resolution was presented, duly seconded and adopted;* WHEREAS, The Act of Assembly of May 2, 1929s P.L. 12780 amended by Act No. 146 of 1931, P.L. 401, See. 426, requires the County Commissioners to cause to be erected over the graves of deceased service men a suitable headstone of granite or marble, with appropriate inscriptions thereon, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, That the County of Washington hereby adopt the following specifications as standard for such headstones as may hereafter be erected, to-wit: No, 1, First Class Light Barre Granite Stone from Wetmore & Morse* or E,L. Smith & Co. Quarries, said stone to be 2' 0" long, 1' 6" wide and 10 inn* high in rear, with one inch bevel for drainage, said stones to be erected at a cost not to exceed Fifty ( 50) Dollars in place, upon proper application for same, duly ap- proved.
