Joint meeting of County Commissioners and County Controller at 11:15 A,M,
to open bids for Election Supplies and Printing and Delivering Ballott;- for
General Election to be held on November 8th; present for County Commissioners$
Messrs. Johnstons O'Neil and Barnes; County Controller Woodward present; bids
from fOlowing companies opened and read in presence of County Commissioners:
For furnishing Election Supplies for
the 185 Election. Districts of County;
Vim, G. Johnston Coos Pittsburgh, Pa, $577,30
For printing and delivering Ballots to
office of County Commissioners;
Derrick Publishing Coos Oil City$ Pa. 1100000
-Ward Printing Coos Washingtons Pa. 1086,00
-All of above bids accompanied by certified checks* as required.
Motion by Mr. Barnes$ seconded by Mr. O'Neils that contract for furnishing
Election Supplies be awarded to Wm. G. Johnston Compangsat its bid of 577.30*
and that contract for printing and delivering Ballots be awarded to Ward Printing
Company* at its low bid of $1086,00* and that County Controller be directed to
return certified checks of unsuccessful bidders.
Motion carried.
There being no further business before the joint meetings it was adjourned.
