Commissioners in regular s-essions members present being Messrs. Johnston
and O'Neil; pair. Barnes having notice of meetings but absent.
The County Engineer presented his tabulation of bids opened on October 20th
for purchase of 1000 tons of bituminous material for use on Hickory -Westland
Road; motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr, Johnstons that contract be awarddd
to Koppers Products Companys at its bid oh Slagnac$ $7.38 per tons F.O.B.
Westland$ with understanding that only such quantities as are required are to
be ordered this years and that payment on contract is to be deferred until
August 193'3., unless financial conditions may be such as to warrant earlier
payment.
Question called for; voting "Aye" Messrs. O'Neil and Johnston. Motion
carried,

The following Resolution was duly presented and seconded and adopted at
a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of 'Sashington Countyp held
October 25$ 1932;--
BE IT RESOLVED$ That the County Commissioners of Washington Countyp
Pennsylvaniap agree to remove the old Fridge located on Route'No, 268p at
Ten Mile Creek to a new location near Bescop provided a new bridge is approved
by the Grand Juries in 14ashington and Greene County for said new location.
This work to be done as soon as possible after the necessary Court procedure.
At the time of removing the bridge the Commissioners agree to remove the abut-
ments to the natural ground level and slope the present approaches from the
ground level at the face of the abutment on a one to one slope. It is under-
stood that the expense of this work is to be borne on a fifty-fifty basis by
the Commissioners of Greene and Washington Counties$ and this Resolution is ex-
ecuted with the understanding that a similar Res-olution has been executed by the
County Commissioners of Greene County,
