BARNES, COMMISSIONERS office of the County Commissioners* Washington* Pa.s Jame,' 13r# 1933. Commissioners in regular sessions members present being Messrs. Johnston O'Neil and Barnes. The following Resolution was made* duly seconded and adopted: ' WHEREABs it is the desire of the Commissioners of the County of Washington to accept the provisions of the Act of July 1: 1919s P. L. 893s and the Amend- ments thereto approved May 17* 1921* P. L. 1175 and May 22s 192E P. L. 361, and May 23* 1933 P. L. 197* commonly known as the Mothers# Assistance Fund Act# and to make same effective in said County* and to appropriate from the f`"undii of the County of Washington for the purpose of carrying said Act into effect a sum of money equal to the amount apportioned to the County of Washington fr6A the , appropriation made by the Legislatures under, the provisions of the Act approved. May 24* 19330 #218. WHEREASs it has been ascertained by the said County Commissioners that the amount of such apportiomment to Washington County* under said Act for the period commencing June is 1933 and ending May 31s 1935 is One Hundred Ten Thousand One Hundred Fifty-dine and 08/100 Dollars ($110*159.08). Therefore be it resolved by J. E. Johnston# John N. O'Neil and W. A: Barnes Oomissioners of the County of Washington that a like sums to wits the suss of j One Hundred Ten Thousand One Hundred Fifty-Nine and 08/100 Dollars ($110'159008) be and ,the same is hereby appropriated from the general funds of the County of Washington to the Trustees of the Mothers' Assistance Rand of said County* to be disbursed by the said Trustees in accordance with the provisions of the Acts aforesaid. Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that adver- tisement for bids on an issue of $3501.000 Funding Bonds of the County of Wash- ingtons proceeds to be applied to present floating debt of the County, be pre- pared and inserted in the legal Journal and the Washington Observer on June 17- 24-July 1s 1933s bids to be received until 11 A.M. of July 3s 1933, and opened at 11a15 of said date.
