Washington, Pa. , February 9, 1934.
Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston
and O'Neil; Mr. Barnes having notice of meeting, but absent.
The Commissioners having before them the various bids submitted for 2-door
sedan automobile, for use of the Sheriff' s Office, submitted and opened on
February 6, 1934, after discussion of same,
Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Johnston, and duly carried, that
contract for purchase of 2-door sedan automobiles for use of the Sheriff'o
Office, be awarded to Guy Woodward, Washington, Pa. , for new 1934 Plymouth
Automobile, ,as per specifications, at the net price, or sum of three hundred
($300.00) dollars, bid submitted by the said Guy Woodward, and that the County
Controller be instructed to return certified checks to all unsuccessful bidders.
There being no further business before the meetings it was adjourned,

Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston
and O'Neil; Mr. Barnes having notice of meeting,, but absent. Joint meeting
of County Commissioners and County Controller to open bids for the furnishing
of 125p000 Triplicate Tax Bills for use in the office of the County Treasurers
as per advertisement for slid bids by County Controller; present for County
Commissioners, Messrs. Johnston and O'Neil; County Controller Post Present.
But one bid having been received, it was opened in the presence of the
County Commissioners, being from the McBee Company, of Athens,, Ohio, agreeing
to supply the required triplicate tax bills for the sum of $625.00p bid being
accompanied by certified check in the amount of $65.00, as required.
Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that bbdtract for furnish-
ing 125,000 Triplicate Tax Bills, for use in office of County Treasurers be
awarded to The McBee Company, of Athens, Ohio, at its bid of $625.00.
Motion carried. There being no further business before the meetings it
was adjourned.
