Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston
and O'Neil; Mr. Barnes having notice of meeting, but absent.
Joint meeting of County Commissioners and County Controller to open bids
for purchase of Voting Machines for the County of Washington, in accordance with
advertisement for bids- on same, as requested by the Controller; present for
County Commissioners, Messrs. Johnston and O'Neil.; Controller Post present,
Bids from following concerns opened and read in the presence of the County
Commissioners, each bid accompanied by certified check, as required;
General Sales Engineering Corporation:
Voting Machines, manually operated, each $1048,67.
Voting Machines, combination electric and manually
operated, each $1142,32
Automatic Voting Machine Corporation:
Voting machines, manually opeiated* each $1359.48
with discount of 20% on all machines delivers d to
the County during 1934, thus making net cost per
machine of$1087.56 of machines delivered during
current year.
Bids to be given consideration and awarding of contract to be deferred until
a later date, upon motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Johnston, and carried,
There being no further business before the joint meeting, it was adjourned.
