Johnston and OtNeil; Mr. Barnes having notice of meeting, but absent. In the matter of Voting Machines for Washington County, the following Resolution was presented, duly seconded and adopted: WHEREAS, The electors of the County of Washington voted in favor of in- dtalling voting machines therein at the General Election held on November 4, 1930, and a petition was filed in this office on April 9, 1934, signed by ele tors being more than one 1 percent of the total number of qualified c , g ( ) electors who voted at the preceding Municipal Election held on Nov. 7, 1933, and more than 103 weeks having elapsed since the time the vote was held for installing voting machines in the County of Washington, and asking that the following question be submitted to the electors of the County at the next general election,otothe heldt9n the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November, 1934, "Shall the Use of Voting Machines be Discontinued in the County of Washington" , now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, That the said petition be directed to be filed and the question submitted to the electors of Washington County at the next general election to be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November, 1934. i j There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
