Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston and R
O'Neil; Mr. Barnes having notice of meeting but absent.
Joint meeting of Commissioners and County Controlle r to open bids for the re-
moval of a barn on the J. M. Irwin farm near Station 1343, State Highway Route
#113, as advertised for by the ,County Controller; present for County Commissioners
Messrs. Johnston and O'Neil; County Controller Post present.
Bids from the following were opened in the presence of the County Commissioner
and read:
Alva M. Walters, Uniontown, Pa. , bid $2213, accompanied by certified check in
the sum of $100.
Bid of Hold, McConnell & Osborne, 30 'Murdoch St. , Canonsburg, Pa. , $1605.80,
accompanied by certified check in amount of $100.
Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, and carried that the contract

for removing the barn on the J. M. Irwin farm, State Highway Route #1130 be awarded
to Holt, McConnell & Osborne, they being the lowest and best bidders and that the
check of the unsuccessful bidder be returned by the County Controller.
There being no further business before the joint meeting, it was declared
adjourned.
