Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston
and O'Neil; Mr. Barnes having notice, but absent.
Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that,the contract for
printing and delivering approximately 90p000 official and 20,000 specimen
ballots for use at General Election of November 6, 1934, be awarded to the
Ward Printing Company, of Washington, at its bid of $1590, said bid being
received by County Controller after due advertisement, on October la, 1934#
and placed before the Commissioners on this present date, and that contract
for supplying tally sheets, return sheets, etc. etc., for use at the general
election of November 6, 1934, be awarded to the Wm. G. Johnston Co., Pittsburgh,
at its bid of $513,75, said bid being received by County Contriller'after due
advertisement, on October 10, 1934, and placed before the Commissioners on this
present 4A 100f14*ese being the only bids received for printing ballots and furnish-
ing supplies and received by County Controller prior to 11 A.M., October 10, 1934,
Question called for and motion carried by unanimous vote of Commissioners
present.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned,
