Board of County Commissioners in regular session, each member having had
personal notice of meeting, members present being Messrs. Johnston, O'Neil and
Barnes.
The following Resolution'of the Board of County Commissioners of the County
of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by said County of
Fifty Thousand ($50pOOO. ) Dollars in temporary loans, was presented, duly seconded
and unanimously adopted by said Board, to-wit:
WHEREAS, It has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of Fifty
Thousand ($50,000. ) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the
year 1934 and for which taxes have been assessed and levied and are to be col-
lected during the year 1934, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVE.Dp By the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of
Washington, for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses
the proper officers of the said County are her9py authorized to negotiate tempo-
rary loans payable out of current revenues of the County, and issue Notes thereforJ
with interest from date of said Notes, free of all taxes levied by the Common-
wealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Washington assumes and
agrees to pay, said Nptes to be negotiated and issued as follows.-
THE CITIZENS NATIONAL BANK, WASHINGTON, PA. , $500000.00
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
