Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston,
O'Neil and Berryman.
County Engineer Chaney presented the tabulation of bids received and opened
on June 5, 1935, for tar retread construction of certain highways of the County
of Washington and after examination and discussion of same,
Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Berrymgviv that contracts for material
and retread construction on the various roads indicated in the bidding of June 5th,
be awarded to the Hull Resurfacing Company, for slag construction on all of said
roads with the exception of the McMurray Road No. 2, whereon construction shall be
on basis of one-half slag and one-half limestone, contract to be thus awarded to
the said Hull Resurfacing Company, at its low bids on all roads to be thus con-
structed, and that County Controller be requested to return certified checks to
all unsuccessful bidders. Motion carried.
Thera being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
