Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Johnston, OfNeil and Berryman; joint meeting of County Commissioners and
County Controller at 2 P.M. to open bids for installing heating system in
county garage, as per advertisement for said bids by County Controller;
present for County Commissioners,, Messrs. Johnston, OtNeil and Berryman;
County Controller Post present; bids from following concerns opened in
presence of County Commissioners and Bead:
West Penn Heating Company, Canonsburg, Pa. :
Proposal on basis of specifications, $1041.00
Alternate bid--other type of boiler, 995.00
Washington Plumbiftgj 'Heating and Supply
Company., Washington, Pa. :
Proposal on basis ,of specifications $940.00
Alternate bid, U.S.Radiator, 875.00
Kirkland & Koch., Canonsburg, Pa. :
Proposal on basis of specifications,, $1020.00

$36 less, or 984.00

Motion by Mr. O?Neil, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that contract for
installing heating system in county garage be awarded to McVehil Plumbing &
Heating Company, Washington, Pa. ,, at its low bid of $840.00, with used radi-
ator, and that County Controller be directed to return certified checks to
unsuccessful bidders. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the joint meeting, it was
adjourned.
