BARNES, COMMISSIONERS 1-32 WARD PRINTING CO.96502 Office of the County Commissioners,, Washington, Pa. , August 1, 1935. Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston, OfNeil and Berryman. The bids for surface treating of certain roads in the County,,- opened on July 25, 1935, were presented., after tabulation, by the County Engineer, together with the bids for construction of certain bridges, opened July 30, 1935. Motion by Mr. OtNeil, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that contracts for sur- face treating of certain roads in the County, excepting the McClane 's Bridge- Meadowlands Road, be awarded to the Hull Resurfacing Company. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Berryman, seconded by Mr. OtNeil, that the contract for construction of the McClane 's Bridge be awarded to the Washington Engineering & Construction Company, at its low bid of $9,,639.96, and that checks of unsuccessful bidders be returned. Motion by Mr. O 'Neil, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the contracts for construction of the Frye Station Bridge, and the Mawhinney Bridge, bids for which were opened on July 30, 1935, be awarded to Holt, McConnell & Osborne, in accord- ance with their low bids on same, and that checks of unsuccessful bidders be re- turned. Motion carried. There being no further business fore the meeting, it was adjourned. (SIGNED) COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
