BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the County
Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa. , on Monday, January 15# 1934# at
11:25 A.M. , at the call of the Chairman, members present being Messrs. Johnston,,
and O'Neil.. County Commissioners and County Controller Post.
Motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the salary of Mrs. Mariah
Broolean, elected as cleaner in place of Mrs. Johnson, resign* be fixed at the
same sum as paid to the said Mrs. Johnson, to-wit, $40.00 per mouth, to become
effective January 16s 1934. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the meeting, it stood adjourned to
meet at the call of the Cahirman.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter
of salaries and employees in the office of the Clerk of Courts, met in the office
of the ' County Commissioners, Court House, Wdshingtonp Pa. , on Monday, January 15s
1934, at 11:15 AAA', following members being present: County Commissioners
Johnston and O'Neil, County Controller Post and Clerk of Courts, William D.Davies.
Motion by Mr. Davies, seconded by Mr. Post, that the following employees be
retained in the office of the Clerk of Courts, to-Wit: Samuel Chaney, Deputy
Clerk of Courts and Mary McGregor, part time clerk. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Davies that the salary of Samuel Chaney, Deputy Clerk of Courts,
be fixed at $170.00 per month. No second to this motion, hence declared lost.
Motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the salary of Samuel Chaney,
Deputy Clerk of Courts, be fixed at same sum as heretofore, to-wit, $165.00 per
month and that salary of Mary McGregor, part time clerk in the office of Clerk
of Courts, be fixed at same sum as heretofore, to-wit, $50.00 per month.
Motion carried. Mr. Davies voting "No" and wishing his vote so recorded.
There being no further bu$iness before the Board, the meeting stood adjourned,

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter
of salaries and employees in the office of the Coroner, met in the -office of the
County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, on Monday, January 15# ,1934# at
10:30 A.M. , following members being present: County Commissioners Johnston and
O'Neil, County Controller Post and Coroner,William Baker.
Motion by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. GtNeil, that Mary McGregor be retained
as part time clerk in the office of Coroner, at same salary as heretofore, to-wit,
$50.00 per month. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting stood adjourned*
