BARNES, COMMISSiONLRs The Salary Board having to do with the matter of salaries and employees in the office of the Sheriff, met in the office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., on Thursday, January 25, 1934, at 2:15 P.M., members present being County Commissioners Johnston, 0#Xeil and Barnes, County Controller Post and Sheriff Fred W. Brady. Motion by Mr. Bandy, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that J. A. .Beaman be appointed Chief Deputy in the office of the Sheriff and that his salary be fixed at $190.00 per month;' Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Brady, seconded by Mr. 0#Neil, that Roland M. Brown be appointed to the position of stenographer in the office of the Sheriff and that his salary be fixed at $105.00 per month. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. Barges, that two (2) Deputy Sheriffs'be appointed, their salaries to be fixed at- 145.00 and $140.90 per 4tonth, respective- ly. Before calling for question on this motion, Mr. Barnes who had seconded it, withdrew his second thereto and Mr. Post, who had made the motion, withdrew same, h1snee no further action taken thereon. Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. O#Neil, and carried, that the Board adjourn to meet on Monday, January 29th, at call of the Chairman. Board stood adjourned. The Board of the County of Washington having to do with the matter of salaries of employees of the County of Washington, met in the office of the County Commis- sioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., on Wednesday, January 31, 1934, at 11:15 A.M., at the call of the Chairman, members present being County Commissioners Johnston, O'Neil and Barnes and County Controller Post. Motion by Mr. OtNeil, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the salary of the Jail Warden recently elected by the Prison Board, be fixed at $1940.00 per annum, the same as last year. Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. 1 n 1
