SALARY BOARD ---- 1932
Office of the County Commissioners$

The Salary Board of the County of Washington$ having to do with the matter
of salaries of all employees of the County of Washington who are employed by the
County Commissioners and the Prison Board of said County$ met in the office of
the County Commissioners, in the Court Houses Washington$ Pa,$ on Mondays January
4$ 1932$ at 2 otelock P,M,$ the following members being present: County Commission-
ers* Johnston: O'Neil and Barnes, County Controller Woodward and proceeded to or-
ganize for the ensuing years upon motion by Woodward$ seconded by Mr. O'Neil$ that
the Board so organize by the election of Mr, Johnston as Chairman, There being no
other nominations for Chairman: the vote was taken and Mr, Johnston was unanimous-
ly elected,
Chairman Johnston took the chair and the Board.proceeded to elect a Secretary,
upon motion by Mr, Woodward$ seconded by Mr. OtNeili that Mr. Barnes be elected
Secretary. There being no other nominations for Secretary, the vote was taken and
Mr, Barnes was unanimously elected secretary,
Motion by Mr, Barnes, seconded by Mr. OiNeilf that the salaries of the Matron,
Assistant Matrons Deputy Wardens and Jail physicians this day elected by the Prisom
Board$ be fixed as follows: Mrs, David W, Creigh$ Matron $65 per month; Mrs,
Julia Hutchinson, Assistant Matrons $35,00 per month; Deputy Wardens Geo, W. Corey,
Clarence Seyboid and Harry Riser, $125,00 per -month -each; Jail Physician, Dr, J,H,
Carey* $75000 per month; thesd salaries being effective for the current year,
Motion carried,

The Salary Board of the County of Washington$ having to de with the matter of
salaries
,O,of all employees of the County of Washington coming under the jurisdiction of the
County Commissioners, met in the office of the County Commissioners$ Court House$
Washington* Pa.* on Monday, January 4$ 1932$ at 4:30 P.M.$ the following members
being present: County Commissioners Johnston* OlNeil and Barnes$ and County Con-
troller Woodward, Chairman Johnston in the chair,
Motion by Mr. Woodward$ seconded by Mr, Barnes$ that the salaries of the
superintendent of Court House$ Assistant Superintendent of Court Houses janitors$
cleaning women* etc.* this day elected for the year 1932$ be fixed as follows:--
