BARNES, COMMISSIONERS 1 The Salary Board having to do with the matter of salaries and employees in the office of the County Controller, met in the office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington# Pa,# on Thursday# January 7# 1932s at 4:10 P,M'.'# the - following members being present; County Commissioners Johnston# O'Neil and Barnes and County Controller Woodward.' Chairman Johnston presiding, Motion by Mr, Woodward# seconded by Mr, O'Neil, that the present employees in the office of County Controller, in their several capacities* be retained for the ensuing year, with proviso that any of them muiy be dismissed upon 30 day's notice, and that their salaries be fixed at the following amounts# to.**it:- John G, Albright# Deputy Controller, 200.00 per Mo. Thaddeus Jones# Bookkeeper, 175.00 " Margaret Eisert, Clerk and stenographers 100.00 " Motion carried. There being no further business before the Boards it was adjourned, The Salary Board of the County of Washington, met in adjourned meetings at the call of the Chairman# in the office of the County Commissioners# Court douses Washington# Pa,# on Thursdays January 7# 19320 at 4:30 P,M,s the following mem.• bers being presents County Commissioners Johnston# O'Neil and Barnes and County Controller Woodward, ,Chairman Johnston presiding, Motion by Mr, O'Neil# seconded by Mr, Johnston.: that the salary of the Chaney Engineering Company# elected to position of County Engineer of the County of Washington# be fixed at 4800*00 per annum, After remarks upon the motions the question was called for and a vote taken# resulting as follows: Voting "Aye"# Messrs. O'Neil and Johnston, Voting "Nay"s Messrs* Barnes and Woodward. The vote indicating ai,tie# the motion was declared lost. ' Motion by Mr. O'Neil* seconded by Mr. Barnes# that the Board adjourn until Fridays January 80 1932s at 10 A,M, Motion carried and Board stood adjourned#
